Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

Mitsubishi is undoubtedly a brilliant car, as seen in the showroom, but I’m a big fan of history and heritage and Evolution models have a wider line and impressive than most. Formula One is always accused of a lack of excitement and controlled by the computer more and more as the years pass. World rally, however, could not be more opposite the steep cliff drops, car splashes mud-and-glass windows, causing spectacular crashes sheep and only navigation is petrified passenger driver read the instructions from the clipboard.

This is where the model of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in. For years, the arch rival of Evo and Subaru Impreza rally fought out on the circuit before the resumption of the second round on the road. For me though it was Mitsubishi that I have always waved the flag and especially Tommi Makinen, who won the World Rally Championship four times in 1996, ’97, ’98 and ’99 – each time in his Mitsubishi. It was time when I was a young teenager I developed a love for cars and see Makinen won the championship in Wales of all places will always stick with me.

Maybe now you can see why I am so excited about the newest Lancer Evolution, though not purely based on my childhood memories. In recent years Mitsubishi / Subaru conflict moved firmly supports Mitsubishi Subaru stylists’ seems to blindly assess the ugly cars produced. Mitsubishi on the other hand, soften the bottom (a little) the aggressive styling, making the evolution of one of the best handling car money could buy and then put a price tag that everything that could compete with at least £ 40,000 cut.

Evolution X-generation PlayStation is a pure styling with large wheels and spoiler, front grille that can plow snow and headlights give the appearance of Mike Tyson in his prime. It is still more refined than previous models and offer a more adult feel continues inside. Yes it’s not the most inspiring interiors I have ever seen, this is a typical Japanese experts to offer rather than Italian talent, but an important item on the X is much better quality than the elders.

While the build quality may have been involved, certainly not the performance. Needless to say, the latest model does not disappoint, with the snappily titled Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR FQ-360 in the range of one to plump for. In fact, get from 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds it damn sight faster than 99 percent of the competitions and much faster than you can say his name.

However, despite this defeat Ferrari performance of Mitsubishi’s best feature is how to handle. The most accurate way I can describe it is ‘perfection’ in addition, widely used word to say it fails to address such needs a car rally, but will not break the back of the mall walking, either. This is a racing car for the common man (or woman). So if the Everyman (or woman) has saved £ 37,999. Yes, it is not cheap at first, but when playing a woman in front of Ferrari, the two children behind and your groceries into the trunk must pay at least £ 70,000 less than the Ferrari man you will see where I ‘m coming.
